The short version
CookwareStyle is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click an Amazon link on this site and buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise. The commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your wallet.
Which links are affiliate links
Every link on this site that points to amazon.com is an affiliate link. That includes:
- The "Check Price on Amazon" buttons inside each product review
- Product names and links inside our comparison tables
- The named "Buy on Amazon" buttons at the end of each guide
- The "Recommended Gear" links in our how-to guides and recipes
All affiliate links are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines can identify them as paid links, per Google's link-qualification guidance. We do not disguise affiliate links or route them through redirect domains.
How this affects what we recommend
It doesn't. Our picks are chosen before any link is added, and we are paid the same commission rate regardless of which product you buy — so there is no financial incentive to steer you toward one brand over another.
We are a research-based publication. We analyze construction and materials, read verified long-term owner reviews, and check that a product is actually in stock from a reputable brand before it goes on a list. We do not run a physical test lab, and we say so plainly. Our full methodology lives in our Editorial Policy.
We also publish "watch-outs" on every pick — the real drawbacks, not filler. If a popular product has a genuine flaw, we say so, even though a more glowing writeup would probably convert better.
What we don't do
- We don't accept payment from brands in exchange for a placement, a ranking, or a positive review.
- We don't publish sponsored posts disguised as editorial reviews.
- We don't quote prices on this site. Amazon pricing changes constantly, and Associates Program rules prohibit displaying stale prices — so we use price tiers instead and send you to Amazon for the live number.
- We don't use fabricated review scores, invented testimonials, or made-up star ratings.
Other affiliate programs
Amazon Associates is currently the only affiliate program we participate in. If that changes, we will update this page before publishing any links under a new program.
Cookies and tracking from affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may place a cookie in your browser so it can attribute a later purchase to us. This is standard for affiliate programs and is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice. We never receive your name, address, payment details, or order contents — only anonymous, aggregated commission reporting. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data on our side.
